$4.00/Gallon for *#&%+$ Premium!!! *COUGH*
Now that premium has broken through to $4.00/gallon this morning...how are your summer driving habits going to change?
I'm sorry, but $4.00 a gallon for gas is the tipping point for me....no road trips this year. That's it. I've thrown in the towel. Just putt-putting around town locally on the weekends for car shows and events is all I'm going to do.

What a bunch of $%#^%$#$%%^$% Its 3.89 here for Regualr and $4.09 for Premium. It continues to go up EVERY Week and NO ONE is doing a &()&)(()&()&0 thing about it.
Then the cost of everything else has to go up because of it. I know a lot of people scaling back on plans

I filled up Premium this morning for $4.05 at a Mobil in Palatine. The Shell across the street was the same price. Less than a mile away, two other stations next to each other wanted $4.19 for Premium. It pays to look around.

I may have to go back to the old college mode and eat Raymen noodles so I can fill up the 92 and drive her around!

hmmm, i got some gas in my vette from last fall that I paid probably 2.75 gallon for to fillup for winter storage. I can syphon it out for you, and you can buy it for $3.00 bucks a gallon?
But, look at the miles your saving on your car LOL

That price shouldn't bother the "garage queens" much!!
If I end up not being able to put gas in the Vette, then I might as well sell it. NOT

im actually seriously looking at swapping in a 5 speed tranny now, and then its on to fuel injection. that could very possibly be my next 2 winters projects.
with that said, once this things back on the road again, its going to be my daily drive until the snow falls. gas prices be damned.

The stations on north avenue have been that price for the last 2 weeks. I imagine they are even higher.
