Hey Indy Guys, I got some shiny new wheels to show off (tons of pics)
Well the Big Brown Truck dropped these off today I was excited as a kid at Christmas to get them on the car. First off, thanks to John, Chip, and Melissa for making such a quality product and getting it out to me so quickly. As you'll see from the pics, the packaging was great so that damage wouldn't occur.
I took a few weights and measurements along the way. The stock Z06 wheels and tires weighed in at 58.6lbs for the rears and 50.2lbs for the fronts. The CCW rears were 66.8lbs and the fronts were 50.8lbs. So I gained about 8.5lbs over stock, but keep in mind I went with 20x13 rear wheels and 19x10 front wheels instead of the stock 18/19 sizes.
I also had to remove the rear brake ducts. They tires ALMOST cleared it, but in the end, the ducts had to come out. Oh well. It was relatively easy to do. I loosened 3 bolts and was able to pry the duct loose. It is hooked on pretty well in the fender.
Anyway, I got them bolted up, snapped some pictures then headed to the dealership to have the sensors programmed. It took the tech all of 7 minutes (no kidding) and $30 later I was on the road.
Again, sorry for the crappy digital camera pictures. Take a look at the very last photo and you'll see that I have redeemed myself for future pics (I made a nice purchase today at best buy).
On with the pics:

Holy Hell Man! Not only is that a Z06 with an awesome set of CCW wheels, but it's a Lingenfelter as well. Boy would I LOVE to take a spin in that!!
I recently added a set of T10s from CCW as well. Although it was on my plain old C5 Coupe...

Love the T10's They were towards the top of my list when I was deciding. And as far as the ride goes, anytime you're in Indy for a cruise, I've got a seat open for a passenger.

I'm glad I don't have dial-up any more.
Nothing sets off a black Vette like big, shiney wheels.
Very sharp.

Looks very sharp. As far as the sensors, did you buy an extra set before they mounted the tires, or are they no longer inside the rim? Just wondering....

Thanks for the offer... I'll look out for you at events around Indy (and beyond) this summer.

I bought the wheels, tires, and sensors as a set. CCW mounted and balanced everything before they shipped them. Once they got to my door, I just had to bolt them on the car and get the sensors programmed.

Beautiful wheels Matt...Even the inner barrels are polished . Was that a special request or does John always do the inner barrels polished?

Here's a pic with the D80. I had the camera set on JPEG Fine Medium size. The pic is still huge. How do I make them smaller and keep the quality? Everytime I use the smaller size option on Webshots, it makes the image fuzzy like the ones above.
