Default Chicagoland pot holes?

The Quad Cities (Northwest Illinois) area is loaded with pot holes due to the terrible winter we've had. I'm driving to the east side of the state tomorrow. Am I correct in assuming Chicagoland is in the same boat?

Chicagoland is full of potholes year round. I highly doubt they're noticing any difference now.

Seriously, the winter potholes are occurring everywhere in the upper midwest, you're gonna have to drive south a ways to escape them.

It's the worst I've seen in ten years. We have soo much snow this year, the plows have been tearing up the streets bad. I saw a couple on the highway that were down to the rebar

These are beyond pot holes, they're scaled down Grand Canyons.

I think I saw people riding mules down into one of the potholes by my house.

I saw one on Cicero Ave. that was so big that someone placed a 50 gallon size dumpster in it (for visability?) and most of the dumpster was below grade. Crews have been patching, but every time it snows there are many that just come right back.

That whole area....Berwyn, Cicero, Stickney etc.... is horrible, tons of pot holes everywhere. I have to work over there all day tomorrow showing homes.

Yeah, I think I saw a small Honda disappear in one the other day.

Money Can't Buy Happiness. But somehow it's more comforting to cry in a Corvette, than a Yugo.
