first autocross for me. Had a great time. found out I need better tires and brake work... but that is all part of it. Just got the car in august.

back in the mid 1970's I used to run a lot of SCCA rallys, but have been out of any competitive events while the kids were growing up.

It was great to meet everyone there. Hope to see you again in the spring.

It was a NCCC event and should have been posted in the Indiana region NCCC website.

My shop is about 10 minutes from Grissom and I have raced SCCA and NCCC there ALOT over the years. It has grown to where it seems that somebody is putting on a race every weekend at that facility. Grissom is about the best place to hold a event due to you can set up the track to run the upper limit speeds for low speed or SCCA auto-X.

69AUTOXr - I took a good look at your car while i was there very nice looking and well built car that you have. The picture in your avitar does not represent your car very well, it looks AWSOME in person.

WELL actually I was suspose to be a 2nd driver in the red C6 parked next to KAM BUT i did not get up there until late soooo didnt get to run. My car is torn down for the winter for new motor, trans and rear. I only live about 10 minutes from there so i went and just socialized with some friends for awhile.

YUP that was the car. The guy that owens it is in our Corvette Club and wanted me to drive to see what the difference would be between his times and mine. I have raced him at 3 events this year and my C4 was always atleast a second faster on all 3 tracks. He does not understand why and wants me to drive his car to see if it is car or driver.

I think alot of it is he does not push the car anywhere near as hard as he could.
