Went to Byron last week and thought I blew the motor on my last pass, Had it towed home and then to FLP, Dan looked at it and called a few hours later and said come pick it up it's done, I thought he was kidding, He charged me 90 bucks to fix it and I'm on the road again, I thought I was done for the year, Thanks again to Dan and Mitch for getting me in and out so fast, I know they are real busy and it was nice that they fit it in so quick, This is why they are the best shop around and I will never go anywhere else, Thanks again, Now I'm off to Fun Fest this weekend, Weather looks good
Location: Elmhurst, IL (West Suburb of Chicago) & Home of MEGA Horsepower
FLP hooked you up big time (no pun intended) and you better be careful that with these type of posts, that RANDYVETTES doesn't pull out one of his CHEERLEADER rah, rah, PICTURES!
All kidding aside that is great customer service!!! To the poster above the BYRON DRAGWAY posts indicate that KEN's C5 only suffered from a bent pushrod!

Thanks for asking, I thought it was a push rod when I opened it up, The problem was only a BLOWN HEADER GASKET, It sounded real bad there and made me sick, I had some other peole look at it and they sayed a bent rod, Keith looked at it and said my car sounded just like that when he blew his engine, Dan said it was still good to tow it home as I would have burned the valve, Dan and Mitch heard it and new in 2 seconds what it was, I picked it up yesterday and I'm back on the road again just in time for Fun Fest this weekend, Thanks again to FLP for getting me back and great customer service,
