Indianapolis Exotics Run V - Sat, Sept 15
Updated Sept 3
Final Details complete
We will meet in Cicero at Little Red Bridge Park. Link to map and address:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&...5&iwloc=A&om=1
We'll meet in Cicero starting at 10 AM and we'll leave to drive at 11 AM. We'll drive south and stop at the Marathon at I-65 exit #68 at around NOON to meet latecomers and those coming from the south. We'll stay there about 1/2 an hour to let people catch up and fill up with gas and chat.
Then at around 12:30 we'll start heading south on the Brown County route to Columbus, IN. On the way we'll stop at The Story Inn (http://www.storyinn.com/) for lunch, and those from Louisville and Cincinnati can meet us there (unless of course they want to drive all the way to Indianapolis). We'll arrive there at about 1 pm and we'll probably eat until around 2-2:30. After that we'll cruise some more ... Bill is planning the route and it will probably last 1.5-2 hours.
Finally we'll arrive in Columbus, IN. I'm guessing we'll arrive there between 4:30 and 5 pm. There's a car show downtown ... there is a registration fee ($10 I believe) ... from here I'm guessing we'll split into two groups - one that drives back up and the other that sticks around to crash the car show. Then after staying for the show a while the rest of us will drive back to Indianapolis.
These times are all approximate - if you are going to meet at one of the late locations in southern Indy or at the Marathon, please PM me and I'll give you my cellphone number, that way we make sure we don't leave without you.

Works for me! My calendar is open so I'm planning on going. I've never driven 135 headed north. Is it anything like 135 headed south toward Bedford? That's a fun, twisty road.

Keep this updated. I dont have squat to drive(pos),but would like to ogle the cars and meet members. I live two miles from where the US nationials are starting up next week..so I will stay tuned. Yes, I have a ladder.Just a note..one exit south of the Speedway Exit (464,exit 16) is the 10th street exit (exit 14). Just one block east of that, is a huge empty parking lot (next to Lowes) where a grocery store used to be.( out of biz). Of course, you can meet inside the Indy 500 speedway , its free to get in and lots of parking...with security .

Oops ... my mistake guys
ghoastrider1 for the past few we've been meeting at King's Image if you know where that is but thanks for the advice ... if you could bring that ladder that'd be a great help and of course everybody's welcome to come ... I don't even have a car!
