Hello everyone

I was the Viper guy he saw first and Rob (White vette / BlackBoosted2) just behind me said he just stopped pretty hard but as far as he could tell he didn't pursue anyone. Maybe he figured there was too many of us. I'm just glad he didn't see us on the cosway just seconds before. We would have went to jail for sure.

Anyway I had a good time and I was glad to see so many vette guys hanging it out there.

We definitely got some good runs in and for us to have no fatalities (figure of speech) within our group made it even nicer.

Would do again that's for sure
Did you guys take a different route when you turned off? I was really suprised that we caught back up to you just north of Bloomington. It was alot of fun running with you.

We didn't take a different route. I saw the cop brake hard as I passed him. I then signaled back to Rob as to say "What do you want to do?" he just motioned me on.

Just down the road was this Marathon gas station and it sits down and off the road. Hard to see from the road. We just pulled in there and chilled for a few. The only people I saw ditch it quick were the two lotus guys.

There was maybe 6 other drivers down there with us.

Yea and like I said before I had a good time. I think all of the Vette guys there were giving it hell !

I don't know about the rest of you guys but I smoked my brakes

Thanks all for coming out to play. We had a great time. The 59 is quite a work out doing 100 miles on those roads, but it is gratifying to hit the apexes just right and hang with you late model guys.

Anybody know what happened to the white Mustang and yellow Porsche? They never even made it to Story.
I don't know if they missed the first turn, or had to head out after Marathon.

It would have been interesting to listen to a police scanner all afternoon, I bet it was buzzin'.

Let's see; one pass in the grass, no tickets except Webby ON HIS WAY TO CICERO, before the drive, No breakdowns (whew), the Lotuses hiding in some guys driveway from the man, bikers threatening to kick Jim's (Testarossa) a** at Story (they apparently thought they owned the road today), cool air, blowers everywhere, good food, great friends. What a day!

Wow, I had a great time! These "Exotic" car runs to the Brown County area are definately the highlight of the "driving season". I sincerely applaud those who organize these events as they are a GREAT TIME!

I'm sure the police scanners were buzzing! Passing that cop that stopped dead in his tracks as we flew by definately got the adrenilene pumping to the max (as if it wasn't already!).

Here are some pics that I snapped at Cicero for those that didn't get to make it there!

More pics to come!

Wow.. Wow..

What a thing the experience, If you have ever even thought about going to one of these runs GO! I drove 80+ Miles from my house just to get to Cicero to the start... It was the best time I have had with my clothes on!

Thanks to EVERYONE for being nice, I can honestly say that you ALL made me and the SS feel very welcome!

It was kind of an odd start, Jose (Webby friend) that I had never met in my life, rode the run with me today, it was a great time for both. I will try my best to make it down if this ever happens again, it was worth the 60$ I spent today in gas..

Ya my brakes are fried as well, I also think that the clutch is slipping a little and my rear BFG's are a lot smoother than they use to be

I have watched most of the vid I took today, not the best.. it was to much bumps and to much "gas and then brake" Jose did his best too but it still aint great..

Thanks again to everyone for making it a great time and to Jose for being a great co pilot.. What a way to end the summer

PS I am only 6 foot, this pic makes me look like I am like 7 foot or some ****

Thanks everyone for coming! Especially Larry and Bill for the rides for Jose and me, and the other Bill for planning the drive. It was great meeting everyone
I'll try to have pictures and video up soon.

I heard a few different people saying a dark colored Lamborghini pulled into the restaurant and then left a few minutes later ?? Did anyone happen to get pictures of it? We weren't expecting a dark one

Thanks Webby for setting this up and thanks also to SMSC1 for his (and I'm sure his wife's) efforts with lunch and the route. Every one had a great time and all have lots of interesting stories to tell.

It was a pleasure meeting a lot of new people, seeing old friends, and making some new friends too. Lets do it again before the "season" is over!

Steve

Great video. I was the guy driving the yellow C5 Corvette. I was behind you from the KFC to the Story Inn. You were behind me during the second leg and I may have been the source of those strong exhaust fumes you were smelling, not to mention the loud exhaust. Your car was pretty sharp. I love the SLP Camaro SS.
