Default Winter car shopping

I am now in the process of looking for a car to drive for the winter. My husband and I can no longer share one vehicle because of schedule conflicts. I am in the market for a sports car, but I am looking for a very particular car.
When I got my first car I bought a 1985 Monte Carlo SS. I am trying to find another one. I do not want a newer SS, I like the 80's look. Plus my credit union has five year loans for cars 20 years and older. I have to have a backseat with three seatbelts for the two kids and the one on the way. I could not remember if Camaro's have three seats in the back, but I want to say they only have two if I remember correctly.

Here are the specifics I am looking for:

Automatic shifter on the floor
350 engine, does not need to have mods
Solid body, surface rust ok
SOLID FRAME, no holes or pieces that can be removed!!
Ideal mileage 120,000 miles or less, but will consider over that.
No Aerocoups
Located in Michigan
Price between $1 and $5500.

I am not looking to buy until August or September, but I need to start looking now so when that time comes, I will have something.
If anyone has some leads, please let me know. You can PM or email me. I have found out that patience pays off, as in the case of my Vette. Waited three years and bought it for $4500 and it runs good.

I hear you on the Aerocoupe's I had an 87'... at first I thought it was neat being "Rare" but a little while later I just realized.. it's ugly..

Good luck with your search!

Good luck to you, the last Monte I saw from the years your looking for was over on Ann St, at Ann St. Auto sales, I'll keep my eyes out for one and If I see one I'll let you know. Don't see too many around anymore, which is a shame, I always liked that bodystyle myself. I have a 2001 SS right now, but would NOT recommend it if you are looking to put kids in the back seat for sure, have two of my own and it was not fun getting them in and out. Thank goodness I have a 4 door now to haul the family around in!

I hate four doors. When our first was born we had a two door blazer and a RS Camaro. I would rather get them out of the back seat of the car than the blazer. It won't be that difficult to get my kids out anyway. My oldest in almost 4 and can get out of her seat by herself and the youngest is almost 2, so she can crawl out too. That means I will only have to drag one kid out come November.

Yeah, that is about the only place I have seen one lately and I would never buy a car from there. To many frineds got nasty running cars and the dealship would not take their phone calls when the cars started breaking down. Many of the cars were only three or four years old and had major problems like much older cars. Thanks and keep your eyes peeled. I do not see many of them anymore either, of course when I got mine way back when, they were quite rare too.
