I have a guy who does a great job and has done many of my friends Vette's and Porsche's. Great pricing. I have had him do my BMW's also. PM me for the info. By the way he has done a few cars for the Chicago Corvette Club and charges 300.00 for everything and he will come to your house.

Ted

Call Craig or Kevin at HP Performance in Mundelein...you won't be disappointed either with price or location. They are only about 15-20 minutes from you. 847-949-8388

The 3M web site has a list of authorized installers. That's how I got one to install it on my C5. Great job.

3M is not very good and turns yellow over time. This new stuff that is used is way better and easier to clean. It will not stain.

I believe last year 3M changed the tape they were using (is that what you are referring to?). The Ventureshield is good (but a lifetime warranty seems to good to be true). I got Avery, and except for the hood I like it very much. The orange peel on the tape matches the orange peel on my finish.

3M is not the best product. Call Tim at 630-669-7554 and ask him why 3m sucks and the product that he sells and professionally installs is FAR superior. He will cut you a huge deal. I have the Venture shield on my C6 and it is almost totally invisable. Give Tim a call, you wont be sorry. This stuff has a clear top coat and is thinner than the 3m stuff, but it protects just as good and almost disapears in the paint. I'd show you a pic of mine, but it would do no good because you cant see it!!! Goodluck, and here is the link to the product.
