A bunch of us from the Peoria area are planning a fall color cruise to Starved Rock on Saturday, October 14th. We'll be meeting at the boat launch behind Jonah's Restaurant, which is at the Eastport Marina, about a mile and a half north on rt 116 fromt he Paradice Casino, or two miles north of Interstate 74 and rt 116, or to really confuse everyone, about 2 miles south of route 150 on rt 116 heading south. We'll meet at about 9:00 and leave at 9:30. We'll park at the lodge (if there's room) and play it by ear from there. Just a relaxing color cruise with no set agenda. I had a great time today. Thanks for coordinating!
I took Rt 71 out and the top road back, Route 6 from Ottowa, and it was nice. Then sotpped off in Lasalle to visit family.
