It was pretty good except for the silent auction. But Pam straightened it out for me!

It was good. The weather was awesome unlike last year. I got first place in the judged Custom C6 class. I also got a celebrity award, and the celebrity who gave me the award was Tom Wallace himself. I told him that I was at the Putnam Park driving school in June. He said he remembered me and he was glad that he picked me because I just don't show my car, but I also take it to the track.

The show was very nice, as always. This year, perfect weather. It was great to see everyone, and meet up with old friends I have not seen in a while (Hi Gloria!!!!!), and meet many great new people (Hey Westsiders!!!!).

Zack and Scott took some wins! Congratulations!

Ended a great day up on Woodward. I'd have to say the highlight of the day was seeing Suzanne (LuvMy82) blasting from the light on Woodward with both her hands out the top, wish I could of got a shot of that racing technique!! Trust me, we had many witnesses!

Here are a few pix.

Congrats to Zack, Scott, and all of the winners. Sorry I couldn't stick around for the after-party but Abby had had enough of being out in the sun. She did enjoy her first real car show though. One of these times I'll actually be able to take the Corvette to an event instead of the 400hp DD with a back seat.

I would like to thank all of the MCV group for a warm welcome and spending your time to show us westsiders around The show was really good, the food at Champps was good, and cruising Woodward was great I was beside Susanne when she did the now famous no handed launch technique; I was totally in awe

If any of you want me to teach you the patented "look-Ma!-no hands-luvmy82-intersection-launching-technique" I will hold a class before we begin my Dexter cruise Just kidding folks, you don't want to try this with your own car. I am a trained professional....

A big thanks to you eastsiders (Motor City Vettes ) We had a great time on Sat night. Thanks Stelthy for reserving a spot at Champs. The food and company were great. Woodward was alot of fun too. Can only imagine what next Sat will be like. I think I will practice my no handed burn out like Suzanne. Then next year I will be considered a trained proffessional too.

In 2 weeks will be the Grand Rapids Metro Cruise, You are invited to join us here on the Westside so we can return the fun time you all gave to us. Just let us know

Jack

Yes Deb you would fit right in What can I say about Steathy4 he set it all up Picked a great place to eat we got right in and plenty of parking. He was willing to cruise all night if we wanted to. But because I am old and could not keep up anymore,we called it a night at about 9:30. Terry and I talked about doing a one day trip sometime after Metro
