If anybody wants to join us. We have room in cars for a couple people if they want to ride along. The more cars the merrier.
We are leaving Wed. at 5am, takes about 8 hours to get there and then the fun starts...11 mile stretch of road that has 318 corners.
can i bring a good friend along. he is enthusiastic about vettes and he doesnt own one yet and he also worked with me at chrysler for almost 2 years. I promise he wont get any of us in trouble.

Sounds like a troublemaker if you have to provide a disclaimer

Why don't you let him take which ever one you don't take?
That would be the most fun.

I will ask him, but if he wants to just passenger along is that cool with you.
edit:
by the way both cars in shop now at les stanford.
black one had to be towed because FOB reciever broke and i think it should be(replacement reciever) ready by tommorow. oh btw forgot to mention GM customer care rocks, had the tow guy in exactly 11 minutes at my house yesterday.
red one has way too much steering wheel vibration past 70 and i bought some potenza's (245xfronts-305xrear) to see if that fixes it.
new rims(to remove my front rim spacers) should be here by next thursday so i definetly cant have them on for the dragon.
Sounds good. Hope the get both your cars straightened out.

Wing it, I found out on my trip to Atlanta you can get better pricing if you just walk in and make a deal.
Yeah, like a bunch of Corvettes rolling up to some random motel in Tennessee are going to be able to "make a deal". They'll look at you guys and apply the "Corvette Tax" at the bottom of the bill.
I was just down at our plant in Knoxville last week then had to go over to our other plant in Columbia SC. I rented a Chrysler 300 for the first time, we supply the brakes, and had to test them out. Didn't know about the dragon but I took 441 through the Smokies to test. The car actually handled pretty good through the turns, but I wish I would have had the vette
Was there in May. Had a great time. Just watch for the Tennessee Highway patrol just befor e you get to the Dragon. They had a good hidden parking spot along the lakeside as you entered curvies. Didn't see any once the fun began.
Make sure you look for your pictures on killboy.com a couple weeks after you return. Bought some great photos from them. Not these. They have about 3 locations they shoot pictures from. Very high quality prints
