West Mich crew, Tech Center trip

Was wondering if anyone is intrested in going to the Corvettes America show in Warren Mich Aug 12th from 9am-4:30 pm. It is at the General Motors Tech Center. I got a brochure today about it. Was also wondering if anyone else might have gone before and tell us what its like. Have a few other ideas related to this event if intrested.

Ok this event is starting to grow on me. Long cruise to see a bunch of vettes and vendors Long cruise back home whats not to like? Anyone else like this idea

I went to their show a couple of years ago. Nice show and lots of Vettes. If you pre-register there will be no fuss at registration. You just drive in give them your name and everything is ready for you.

It costs $20 to register . Have till July31 to register. Lets go people lets go and have some fun here. Lots of venders.....Deb, Borlas! Looks like a good time ,have a long cruise with lots of vettes to go there

Just to throw in a special bonus, we could go on friday night, get a motel room and party the night before. Then we won't need to get up so early Sat.

I went without a vette last year and it was great!

Just yesterday, I talked to one of the guys running it this year and he tells me they expect close to 600 vettes...

ill be there and it is awesome!

I am not sure about the night before thing, but if thats what you all want to do I could do it. Not much of a party kind of guy though Early to bed and early to rise you know

I just had an idea, if you want to go overnight maybe cruise down Woodward friday night. I don't know how far away we would be but we could look into it What do you guys think?

It was just a suggestion. We don't need to go the night before. I don't think Woodward is that much further down the hiway. That sounds cool to

Woodward ALWAYS has cars on it...the actual cruise is the 19th of August but that entire week is loaded with cruisers.

Woodward is red below, and is about 7 miles from the tech center.

We really don't need to party, just a bunch of us together having some good times . Having some dinner a couple drinks and relax or cruise around Detroit . Come on crew, lets get this cruise going. need a bunch going ther. Will no doubt learn something and have a great time
