BLOOMINGTON GOLD Big Fish BBQ
I hope you might like to join Darlene and me for our 3rd annual Cookout. As in past years, this event will be held immediately following the "Gold Tour" at Bloomington Gold. This event is not officially connected with Bloomington Gold in any way. I must limit the attendance to 75 people, or I'm afraid I will have mutiny from the salad chef. 
WHAT'S FOR DINNER:
Ribeye Steaks, cooked the way you like them. Darlene's German Potato Salad and Baked Beans. Roasted corn on the cob and other summer favorites. I'll have bottled water, soda, and several flavors of beer. There will be some appetizers and most likely some big and ugly smoked salmon.
Please let me know if you have any special dietary needs, I'll do my best.
WHEN:
The event will begin immediately following the Bloomington Gold Road Tour on June 17, 2006, rain or shine. You are still welcome to attend if you don't take part in the road tour, plan to arrive at 7:00 pm. PLEASE BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS. I have some, but certainly not enough. Wear your CF name badge if you have one so we can all get to know each other.
WHERE:
I live at 809 N. 5th Avenue (Illinois Route 25) 8 blocks North of Illinois Route 64, in St. Charles. Overflow parking will be in my neighbor's yard, very safe and secure, and located directly across the street at 820 N. 5th Avenue. Please see the map attachment below.
COST:
$12.00 per person, payable when you arrive. I will buy groceries based on the number of responses a few days before the event. There will be a donation can for beer if you are beyond a moderate drinker. PLEASE RESPOND NO LATER THEN TUESDAY, JUNE 12th. If your plans change, please post so I can take you off the list.
Darlene and I have always enjoyed seeing our Forum Friends, and we're looking forward to meeting some new ones this year!

Johnny, this is too good of an excuse for a party to not do it. We really are looking forward to seeing everyone again. As a matter of fact, the whole neighborhood is looking forward to this. We must not have laid down enough rubber on 5th Ave. last year.

Count me in for 2, adding your addesss to my 8,100 mile roadtrip now.
My cousin from Evansville is joining me for 2 days of BG, she will do the drinking for both of us.
Dibs on some of the smoked salmon! ugly or not.

Steve, we've never met and I just went to my first City Club event last month. This will also be my first Bloomington Gold and Tour. In other words, I'm new to the Chicago Crew group, but my wife and I would love to come.
Regarding Sunday, where is the race located and what time frame? I'm interested to attend if the time works out. Looks like a beautiful day to cruise.
