My wife & I went to the Patio for dinner tonight and saw a yellow Z06 on an open trailer heading west. I was asleep at the switch and forgot to wave. Randyvettes coming home from Road America?
That's a good guess... I hope he has in car video and pictures...

We were at Autobahn this weekend. I didn't think the tires were ever going to come up to temperature in the morning practice sessions. I would imagine Road America would be a little bit colder.

What track did you run at the Autobahn?
I go a week from tomorrow with PDI, we will run the full track.
We were on the north course. I think I prefer the south course except for the over 90 degree zee turns. It's a little longer and has a real nice flow from turn 3 to 8.
We had an excellent weekend at RA! Lots of pics and video to be posted in the next few days. Gotta get some rest now. I have to work at 2 of my jobs this week to pay for racing! There were four 06 Z06's there racing, 2 Yellow, 1 silver and 1 blue. We had 4 Yellow C5 Z06s as well, and quite a showing of all makes and models. No wrecks this weekend and no serious off-roading either. GREAT FUN!
Location: Elmhurst, IL (West Suburb of Chicago) & Home of MEGA Horsepower
Road America is the CATS AZZ.........
RANDY,
I knew you would have an INCREDIBLE time and there is no track quite like ROAD AMERICA, it simply is the CAT AZZ of all road race tracks and is a COMPLETE GAS/RIOT to drive your vette to its fullest potential!
How fast did you get that bad boy down that straight away?
Great pics here and your C5 yellow vette looks really cool with the pics of the C6 Z. They definitely hit a home run (GM) when they designed both of these bad boys (C5 and C6 Z)!
Also, nestled in the rural setting of WI with the woodsy setting mixed in with the racing setting of that track really gives that place a REALLY COOL FEELING!!!
Most importantly, everybody and their babies came home in one piece without any mishaps!!
