Default Metro Detroit - Redline D4- ATF

Anyone know where I can buy a couple of quarts of Redline D4-ATF for my leaking MM6 tranny ?

I really enjoy crawling under the car and topping it up every Spring.

Averill's Race Stuff - www.racing-stuff.com

Located west of John R, north of 12 Mile, on Ajax. There was a recent thread on helmets on this forum.

He stocks Redline. Call first to make sure that he has the grade you want.

To begin with, why is your trans leaking?

I have the standard C5 M6 leak where the tranny housing & the rear end are bolted together. There is always a drip waiting to fall.

One of these days I'll break the piggy bank and get it fixed.

I just had Belle Tire put on a new set of Goodyear GS-D3's so maybe next year we tackle the leak.

I think my days at Milan are over. I've had wheel hop issues ever since I put the Nitto drags on my spare "wagon wheels" and I'm not willing to spend money to correct that dynamic. If I just run regular tires I'm all over the track when I hit 2nd gear....that's my sad story. I can't run with you dawgs so I'll stay on the porch.

If someone wants a set of almost new Nittos & 18 "wheels I'll sell, there just taking up space in my garage.

What is the tire size and what is the rim diameter?
Nittos "wheel hop" because they are not hot enough - smoke the pigs and they will squeal!!

Use Ford ATF, it`s the same as B/M`s Trick Shift fluid. But that however may be as hard to find as The Redline fluid. Works in all performance {racing} automatics
