Default Driving your VETTE in March Part II (Final Chapter)

Well with March only 4 days away and Feb coming to a quick close, I may as well get the final chapter out of driving your vettes in the wintertime in Chicago and the Greater Midwest region, especially since the Mo-Town boys enjoy these threads so much!

With that being said, the last and final month of winter is just about here-MARCH-and once April 1, 2006, arrives, that is when at least in my mind, the car season in these neck of the woods kicks off, and the start of Spring will be here in just 30 days or so making everyday a CORVETE DAY!! OH YEAH, and i hope the Mo-Town boys won't be too disappointed when they don't have to read another one of these threads until December of 2006!

KEN,

Your car is going to be simply out of control BRO and I want a ride. Shoot me IM when you find out its going to be dynoed as i would not taking a blast out to FLP and seeing DAN work his majic on that BEAST!
I take it your old MAGGIE is sold via E-BAY? Best of luck and enjoy it in good health. That car should run 10.5s all day long with some slicks in back!!!!!!!!

MO-TOWN Z16 Man:

Won't be long until the Z16 is out everyday right BRO? Glad to see you can see the light hearted nature of my posts towards the Detroit Crew, as you do know we are all in this Corvette Brotherhood thing together my friend!!

I have the Z out today....it's dusty and needs a good detail anyway.

423 rwhp, 3.90. stock F1's and cold roads make for an enjoyable ride

LARRY,

The one and only shop manager from Speed Inc? What's up BROTHER? I did hear now that you mention it that you picked up an ELEC BLUE C5 Z06. The best Z of them all no doubt!!

423 rwhp huh, with 3.90 gears, that baby must RUN STRONG!! I would venture to say you threw in one of Speed Inc's custom grind cams, added some longtubes and Cold Air intake, and had Mr. Moran work his magic on the dyno? Always a great way to go on the Zs no doubt!

Enjoy dude and nice seeing you here! When is the open house going to be in MARCH? Always a WILD TIME!!

I love the car

Open House : We are shooting for the second Sat in April. We just have been slammed and not had time to get everything planned. I will be sure to post details a.s.a.p

"I know I look forward to them"!

Oh come on yellow man, you know you love these threads but you just won't admit it!!

"I don't think you should stop just because spring is coming! Keep up the good work!"

Sorry Yellow, you will have to wait until December of 2006 before this tradition gets fired up again. I know the wait will be killing you!!

No buddy, but it certainly counts for FEB and glad to see you brought your BABY out today (Sat 2-25-06) JOHHNY, as the lil salt powder that got on your car is really meaningless both now, 1 &2 years from now and certainly 10 years from now, etc, etc.!!

Did you take a drive out to KEVINS? STS Turbo has a nice ring to it!

You should of let me know as i would of blasted out there with you guys. Instead, I tracked down the owner of my old yellow Z with 4.10 gears and he was very appreciative of finding out exactly what was done to that bad boy (and he guessed it had a gear in it but figured maybe a 3.73)!

Altough I could not be happier with my BLOWN BLUE Z, It was a little sentimental seeing my old 03 Mill Yellow Z, that I bought brand new 3 years ago, with all the personal touches I added on right there in front of me again. Don't forget I missed out on buying that car back i missed it so much by 3 days in the beginning of winter 04!

I drove mine every single day this week. Went into the loop yesterday. Smacked a curb in the Grant Park garage - need a new rim Other than that its been a blast and I have seen a fair number of other C4 C5 and C6's out. Nice to exchange a wave.
