Default SE/MI End of Season - Most Memorable Time?

Hey MCV's. . . . What's everyone been up to?
and
What's the most memorable time you had with your vette this season?

Yes, I post this question every year!

The season will soon be ending. Seems like it just started, this season went by really quick didn't it? I was glad I got to be at the Hell cruise and see some of my forum friends, even if it was brief. Did not do half of what I hoped this season, but sure did have lots of fun doing what I did get a chance to do.

So, whats the most memorable time for you this vette season?

I'll start.

I'd have to say for me, my most memorable time is tied between 4th of July fireworks with a few close forum friends, and going to Carlisle. Then of course there was Vette Essentials Moving Party, the local shows here and there, T-Birds, Auggies, GM Show, Hokies party, Dyno Day with PFE and Greg and the gang, Suzannes Hines Drive Cruise, The Annual Hell Cruise, Bakers, . . . I know I'm missing a bunch of other good times.

How about you all, what's your most memorable?

Cindy,
All the stuff you listed plus Milan and Ubly. Probably the most memorable were the days before the Dream Cruise Saturday. That week on Woodward and at the 13 Mile Rd corner were just great. The weather was incredible with the warm, seemingly endless nights. So many great cars and so many newbies in the vette category. Dave &Debbie, Paul, Mark, Dave P., Alex, Zack and all the rest hangin' at Four Greenfields and sippin' Tullamore Dew - great stuff

CI-VI.... Most memorable moment is driving to the Autozone 30 miles away from the hampton to get brake pads for the HEMI Powered Corv ette, only having to return because they gave us the wrong kind.

To bad the "season" for cruising Woodward ended so early.

Also, the night at...

Most memorable? That's easy. The Car & Driver Race Series at the Silverdome. Not because it was the most fun... but how could I forget changing tires in the rain 3 times, getting soaked to the bone, George's car underwater at Arby's, and Ken kicking a$$ in his class and not winning the whole event because of the flawed points scheme? Click the link above for Ken's pics.

What do you mean it's only October ask this question after it snows.

The most memorable thing is the fact the all these lame people locked their car in the garage after the woodward cruise. Hello people!!!!!!!!! That is only the halfway point.

Think of this I bought my New Z on Sept 7th since then
-I put 3500 miles on it
-Ran an Autocross
-Went to 3 track rentals at Milan
-put on over 200 miles at Grattan, including a sick 360 right after corner 9 which left a cloud of bellowing smoke
-and did a totally sick burn out in Alex's driveway

Rant off

My MMT is meeting all you guys of course even if it was for only half a season.

Ken you forgot this one:

Being challenged by a Mustang Cobra to race.

The conversation that occured went something like this

Mustang Driver: "What you got in that thing?"
C4 Driver: "It's stock"
Mustang Driver: "You wanna run"
C4 Driver: "Yea let's go"

C4 Driver attempts to start his car, but it won't start. !

C4 Driver has to open the hood, and Mustang Driver spots the NOS lines.

C4 Driver: "Its not hooked up. Tank is empty. Its in the trunk, you wanna see?"

Mustang Driver sidekick decides to call additional friends with Ford Products

C4 Driver Finally gets the car to start. They all roll out to the main dragway....

The rest is history!!!

That was a good one. I was lucky to be riding shotgun on that run.

Everytime we are with all you folks is a "memorable" time for Debbie and I. We didn't get to T-Birds or the other Wednesday night gatherings nearly as much as we'd like, in fact I think we only made a couple this year.

I enjoyed the Waterford show as the weather was fantastic and it was only a mile from my house. I think the Gratiot cruises were great especially Mike's BBQ. The Hines cruise was even better than last year and the Hell cruise was also a highlight.

My first real taste of Irish whiskey compliments of Dennis was also high on the list. I avoided it all these years thinking it tasted like Scotch, which I don't like at all. BTW, Dennis, I regulary get a shot when I'm out now.

Next year, more of the same...

Definitely have to start with the Cruise In! That is something I will try to do yearly! Even though I had to replace my brakes in the parking lot! It was great to have everyones help and George as the foreman of the project. Both trips to Milan putting me in the 12's. The last trip winning $2 from George being asleep at the wheel! The great 4th of July in the rain with our own episode of Cops! One of the things I did that was incredible was take a trip to North Carolina and then drive through the Smoky Mountains! Hanging out on Woodward the weeks before the Dream Cruise, hanging out at the Sunoco station watching Ken fix his car, also driving Ken to Murrays to get things to fix his car! Even though I did not get to participate at the Tech Center show, at least Alex did! All in all, this year flew by! Thanks everyone for the great year, I look forward to more!

Without a doubt, it was the charity car wash at the Flight Club. Man, did my Vette get clean!
