Default Beach Boys to Headline Dream Cruise

from a report in the "Car Connection":

"Plans for this year's Woodward Dream Cruise are in top gear - and this year, the Beach Boys will have a place in the annual August cruisefest. The modern-day iteration of the Sixties surf group will play on August 19 sponsored by Ford. The company is putting on a charity event, "Ford Cruisin' Legends," to highlight the Mustang's 2005 revamp. The Dream Cruise expects 1.7 million or more fans and 40,000 cars to the 16-mile strip of Woodward Avenue consumed by the Cruise."

Anyone going to the Dream Cruise this year ????

I'm sure Ford will be happy to hear "409" or maybe the BB's will change it to "429"

That is my question, where is the performace going to be held at so that I can avoid that area.
I will be there the whole week. Heck, we've already been hitting Woodward. No use waiting until August to start cruising Woodward. It is busy every Friday and Saturday night and you can actually drive your car. Come "Woodward Cruise" time you have to park, to crowded.

Beach Boys? How old are these guys now? 90 or something? Shouldn't they be at a geriatric resort instead...
