Cols. Ohio event...Corvettes in the Park

Hey, only four weeks until the Capital City Corvette Club will be hosting our 3rd annual Corvettes in the Park. The date is August 6th from 2p - 8p at John Bishop Park in Whitehall, Ohio, which is located on the east side of Columbus. We will have top 40 awards, Mayor's choice, Recreation Directors choice, Best Club Participation award and Best of Show. Dash plaques will be given to the first 150 corvettes at the show. Tons of door prizes and 50/50 tickets. Food vendors will be on location. The British Invasion Band will be playing from 6p - 8p. Awards will be given out at 8p. Rumor has it we might even have a 06 Z06 on display!! Money raised will go to Columbus Children's Hospital. For additional information contact mthomas044@aol.com or call 614-329-1717. I'll be graduating and getting my MBA degree that day. Have agreat time as always.

I'm planning a trip to Columbus the first week of Aug. with the Vette so if I'm there I'll come to the show for sure. Is it OK to register the day of the show? You gave me your number already so I'll call you that week if I need any info. Thanks.

Just tell them to give me a 30 MPH spread on that limit.

I don't know how long the reunion is, but if it ends early enough, I'll try and make it back for at least the end.
