Default [MI] CI 6ers . . . How was your trip?

I'll assume you are all back home now. I bet you all had a really great time, especially seeing L98's pictures he posted. Very nice variety of shots. Guess we are going to have to give Ken the title of "Motor City Vette Photographer"!

So everyone . . . How was your trip? What was the best part? What could you have done without happening? Would you do anything different next year? Would you want to go back next year? What was the most memorable thing that happened? What didn't you get to do that you would of wanted to?

I saw the shot of the MCV's banner . . . you all looked good!

For those that give a hoot . . . even though we did not join you all, we did have a really really good holiday weekend, we had nice weather here
and we spent most of the weekend outside in the fresh air and having a lot of fun.

Well . . I guess Memorial Day is the official 'kick'-off . . . let our MCV's season begin!

Ken did an AWESOME job with the pictures and in car video.
The trip was great, my best part was hanging out with everyone and meeting a great group of people and seeing some incredible rides!
I will go back next year and years to follow.
There were several 'memorable' things that happened.
1. Me needing new rear brakes and doing them in the Hampton parking lot. I did have George there giving all kinds of creative input. Ed and Mike went to 2 different autoparts stores only to come back with the wrong parts. Then Zack and Ed went and got the correct ones!
2. The girl curbing her boyfriends CCW rim in front of the hotel
3. 'THE BURNOUT'
4. Lino getting a ticket for having an unrestrained 'child' in the front seat.(Corvettes are not for 3 people to sit in)
5 My Fastest Driver Certificate that the State of Kentucky gave me. They were even so nice as to have a State Trooper present it to me!

I didn't get to drive the new ZO6 like someone else did.

Sorry you missed it

You forgot about the drunk guy kissing the flower pot!

Ditto on everything else!

Did you get stopped on the way home Sunday?
I passed one up doing about 80 (from 90) and he didn't move.
I called George Sunday morning and warned him about the seven cops I saw before Lousville.

Yeah, I got nabbed right as I got on the freeway to meet everyone for breakfast by the Museum. At least he didn't take me to jail.

It was a great time, early Saturday morning a few of us did a “covert ops” to the Wall and Area 51 to snap some pics.
