Default trip around the lakes facts

Thanks for starting a thread on this event. For the 34th time, the Fonddevettes, Ltd of Fond du Lac , Wi. and the Valley Vettes of Appleton, Wi. will be cohosting a trip around Lake Winnebago. This free event ( but must sign a waiver) begins at Forest Mall in Fond du Lac at the intersection of Hwys 23 and 41. Sign in registration begins 7:30 am and mandatory drivers meeting is at 8:45am. First group of cars launches at 9am. proceeds along the west shore of Lake Winnebago through Oshkosh and stops at the Bergstrom auto used car superstore in Neenah for refreshments and a break. Then approx one hour later. relaunch to complete the trip around the north side of the lake and proceed down the east side , returning to Fond du Lac around noon.
Dave Heather Chevrolet in Fond du Lac is our host at the end of the trip. The local Kiwanis Club will be selling food and beverages at the dealership. Event t shirts will be available as long as a limited supply lasts. If there are questions, contact me.

I hope to see some of you guys there again this year if I can get up early enough Sunday morning to make it down there in time. I'll be taking Museum delivery of my new VR/Cashmere coupe on Thursday and driving back to Sturgeon Bay on Friday and Saturday. I have a graduation party to attend Sat afternoon otherwise I would head back down to FdL that same evening and stay over with my daughter and her famaliy as I have done in past years. The cruise is always a fun event and this time I will finally be able to take my grandson along as co-pilot. Looking forward to the Corral at RA coming up in a few weeks also.

I was suppose to be there, but as some of you already know, I was struck by an uninsured driver that ran a red light this past tuesday. Looks like the vette will be laid up for 4-6 weeks.

I think I got all my leaks fixed today so I should be good to go. I'll be departing Sheboygan around 7:00 though

Would be cool if a mod could make this a sticky

Tom we are moving departure time back to 7am if you were planning on joining up with us in Sheboygan. My 6am thoughts were: I hate being in the back of the pack during the cruise, but after further review, 1st bar we stop at we will be in the back anyway

Let me know if you are planning on coming through Sheboygan.

Dan that will put us in your neck of the woods 7:15 ish if you plan on joining us. Hopefully the rain is not an issue.

Anyone else coming up 43 that we should be on the look out for?

I'll probably head straight there..Sheboygan is a little out of the way for me.

I can hang at the back of the mall by Hardee's until you get there so we can get in line together. If for some reason we don't find each other there I'll give you a call.
