Default I Need Your Input For the 4th Annual Corvetteforum.com Hines Cruise!

Yes, boys and girls! It's that time of year again when we get to pick a date for the 30 mile one-way-trip through Hines Park. Beginning in Dearborn and ending in Northville at the Deadwood Bar and Grill for dinner, (where the roadkill is grilled and eaten!) we will depart at around 4:30 pm to cruise the twisty, winding roads of Hines Drive. (Hines is closed to traffic until 3:30 pm for bikes only every Saturday)

I need input from everyone (especially Zack) to make sure that there are no major shows or events going on the weekend that I'd like to cruise. I'd like to get maximum turnout. No car has been ever left behind in my caravan. Last year we had a great mix of C2's, C3's, C4's and C5's.

Please let me know of any major Corvette related events going on the following Saturdays:

June 25th
July 16th
July 23rd
July 30th

Whatever Saturday turns out to be the best, remember that Sunday will be the rain out date (Corvettes melt in the rain, you know!)

PS: Zack- when I have an established date, I want to repost my event as a sticky...Thanks!

Hey Suzanne,

I think you should just pick a date. It seems no matter what day/date is picked there will be other things going on the same day. It's just a matter of choosing what one wants to participate in. Looking at my calendar and club events page, there is not anything MAJOR happening on those dates. The forum Cruise-in, Gratiot/9 Mile Cruise, Woodward Cruise and Carlisle are big events, but not on any of the days you posted. Here are some event I saw posted on the Cruisin-usa web site.

Send me the route and I will draw you a map.
It will have turn by turn directions.

Paul,
There's really only one turn. Get on Hines Drive... drive 20 miles... go right on Northville Rd... turn right into the restaraunt parking lot.

Either you were not with us last year or you forgot what happened last year.

Hey that wrong turn just put a little extra joy in the trip. At least we didn't get the 1/2 peace sign from anyone when we all did our u-turns.
Unlike earlier in the trip when the bikers got a little upset.
