[Dayton] Does anyone here need a 19" monitor? (free)
I know I probably shouldnt post this here but I figured since it was a computer monitor and you need one to see the forum, well, thats good enough.
Anyways...I have 2 basically brand new 19" CRT monitors that are just collecting dust and taking up space. I switched all my moitors to LCD's a while ago and these have just been sitting around.
1 is a HP 19" monitor in a sort of gray/beige color. The other is a Dell 19" monitor and is solid black. The Dell is newer than the HP but they both have a ton of life left in them. Just beware, they are HUGE.
I guess the only catch is that I'm not shipping them. Anyone in the Dayton, Ohio area is welcome to come and get them. If there is interest, I would rather give them to 2 different people rather than have 1 person hog them both. If possible, just make a small ($10? $20?) contribution to St. Jude to help those kids out.
I guess another problem might be that I am leaving for Florida on Monday evening and wont be back for 7-10 days. Its no big deal for me though. We can just meet when I get back.
I may be interested in that 2nd one if no one else has spoken for it yet. Usually the only times I get to Dayton though is during the monthly Monday get togethers if you don't mind holding on to it till then.
Yep...you can have one if you want it. The only problem is going to be that the next gathering is May 2nd and I will still be out of town then. I dont mind holding one until the June gathering but I think that one is the Monday following the Cruise-In and I dont know if I will be back in town by then or not? Or if you guy will push that one back a week or so?

When do you leave town? I could head over after work sometime this week. A free monitor would be worth the drive. I've got a dual monitor setup with a 19" and 17" CRT right now. Having 2 19" will make switching between the 2 screens much better

I will be leaving either Monday night or Tuesday morning. I'm driving and I guess I'm just going to try and avoid the freakin' snow
