Having been to the Elmhurst car shows from the beginning I can say they seem to have gone down in quantity and quality of cars. Plus the year cutoff is just silly.
Location: Elmhurst, IL (West Suburb of Chicago) & Home of MEGA Horsepower
BRAD,
Thansk for posting this brother. Yeah they cut 2 to 3 weeks off but its not the end of the world as we always have LEMONT (always a HUGE TURNOUT) and even BESNSENVILLE on WEDS. nights also. Also, let's remember that DOWNERS GROVE on friday nights and ROLLING MEADOWS both ROCK and I am a regular at LOMBARD on Saturday nights and that always starts also in JUNE and ends at the end of August!!!

There's also an all new one! Augustino's at Rt. 59 and Rt. 64 (North Avenue) in West Chicago begins week after next. This will be held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. A small entry fee will 100% benefit different charities each month! This cruise night is co-hosted by the Chicago Corvette Club and is open to all makes and models, but there will be a special Corvette only parking area. Trophies and a 50/50 raffle prize will be awarded each night.
Augustino's has great food at very reasonable prices, and also serves beer!
Location: You picked the wrong county to haul butt through boy!
I've been to the the Military and Emergency vehicle night. It's pretty cool. For me, basically for cars to overtake the downtown area of Elmhurst is amazing! Anyway if anyone comes to the M/EV night stop by the section where I am at across from AL's Hobby shop and say Hi!. I have the the old Dupage County squad (see avatar)
i went a couple of times last year, got pulled over on York in my cadillac because they claim to do it every week just to keep everybody in check. they checked my insurance and reg. papers and let me go and told me to keep all 4 wheels on the ground.
Hey guys! I am new to the Corvette forum but Am very active On the C3VR forum. I have attended almost all of the Cruise nights last year and Lemont is one of my Favorites! I go to the Wheaton Cruise night the most because I live in Wheaton. Its one of the smaller cruises but A ton of spectators come to it. I will attend the Augustinos Cruise in this summer to see how nice that one is. I look forward to seeing you at the cruise night this summer!
