Part 3-Driving your Vette in March 05 in Chicagoland!
Don't know about you guys, but you can bet i had my babies out both this Saturday and Sunday with the great Chicago Wheather, which hit about 63 degrees with sunshine on Sunday, 3-5-05. Thanks to Johnny Vettes, him and I had the 427 Vert out for about 1.5 hours on Saturday afternoon, and stopped by and visit our good friend, Greg (iceman snow) at which time Johnny took about 40 pictures of the BEAST to help me sell it, and on Sunday, 3-6-05, I had ny blue Z06 for some healthy romping around town and on route 82 and 294 south, down to unicorporated Hinsdale, at which time i must have put on a good 60 miles on the car. All in all, it was GREAT first WEEKEND in March in Chicago for driving your vette, and surprise, surprise, I took full advantage of it!!!!

Mine is still in storage. I dont have a garage so its packed into the back corner of my friends shed. I did go over there Saturday and sit in it though.

NONSENSE TIMMY,
As long as the salt is off the road and it still was today (monday 3-7-05), i was out cruising my Elec Blue Z06. I had to pick up some files from a client around 1pm at orland park, and put on a good 65 miles on the car, and got hit with only some minimal flurries on the way home. It did turn out to be a cold windy day, but the free 10HP never hurts!!!
I just hope we don't get any precipation tonight, for the likes of icemansnow (GREG AND SONS) to being throwing down more salt! As long as the roads are clear, dry and mostly salt free, i stole another day from old man winter today and will continue to do so any chance i get!!!
I was out....What a day! I wish I would have known you were out and about Jim, I would have met up! I was out on a little cruise prowling for a little street fun! Didn't run into any, maybe its better that way....

Looks like i will steal another day today from old man winter, as i went to court in my Z06 this morning, Tues, March 8, 2005, in Bridgeview (5th District Cook County Courthouse) and will be going to court in the (4th District Cook County Courthouse), lovely Maywood, IL, this afternoon. Will be a good 60 miles day today in the Z00006 in the second week of may (opps, i mean March, most have been a freudian slip)!!! And yes, i will be parked in a secured parking lot in the Z06 in Maywood, where Cook County Sheriffs will be patrolling!!!

I was in Vegas this weekend so I missed all the great weather. Didn't stop me though. I took Monday off because we got in VERY late Sunday night. I took out the beast on Monday. I think I scared the snow away.

JUST RETURNED form court in Geneva and Wheaton, IL, and logged on another 50 miles on my bad boy Z! WHen i was driving e/b on roosevelt road in Wheaton, IL about 12:15 p.m., i spotted my exact same car, 02 EB Z06 in the right lane and i swear it was going to be JIM BACUS i was pulling up to. When i caught up to my mirror image Z with me in the left lane i talked to the owner at the light who i did not know and his car looked great with some type of I-FORGED chrommies on the car. Man, i would have bet my last dollar that it was Jim i was going to surprise but not this time!!! Time to get her washed today as i noticed a lil salt poweder on the rear bumper fascia, or is that just a little road grime and dust (like its really going to matter 50 years from now)!
That's 5 days in a row now that i have stolen from OLD MAN WINTER in early March of 2005!!
