I just got back also...what a great day. Saw a number of vettes out, 1 Mag Red vert, 1 Black Z06, about 3 other Torch Reds, 2 Silvers and on the way back to the storage unit had a Victory Red C6 behind me

Took the Vette to church, went down rt. 53 and back north on 55. was really nice. saw a handful of vettes. Even took the top off for a while and it was great. Can hardly wait for the possible snow tomorrow and the rest of the week.

I had mine out yesterday and today... this afternoon I figured it was warm enough to do some detailing, so I drove it hard and put it away clean and looking like new.

(I even did a simple mod I was waiting to do)

I didnt take mine out... The storage place is closed on sundays, plus it would of been a big hassle, worth it, but hassle. So my friends and I T/A 2 lightning and a bike went down rt.53... saw silver and red vettes today, maybe it was one of you?! 2 more weeks and the Z will be out! Lookin forward!

I don't think you Chicago guys had any snow on the ground anyways...but we still do here, and the roads were a sloppy mess today because of the warm temps.

But I had to take mine out anyways.

Hadn't touched or looked at it in the past 2 1/2 weeks, and it's not on a charger. It was due. It felt great.

Spring can't arrive soon enough.

I had both my tricke dout C5 babies out on Saturday and Sunday with the great Chicago Wheather, which hit about 63 degrees with sunshine on Sunday, 3-5-05. Thanks to Johnny Vettes, him and I had the 427 Vert out for about 1.5 hours on Saturday afternoon, and stopped by and visit our good friend, Greg (iceman snow) at which time Johnny took about 40 pictures of the BEAST to help me sell it, and on Sunday, 3-6-05, I had ny blue Z06 for some healthy romping around town and on route 82 and 294 south, down to unicorporated Hinsdale, at which time i must have put on a good 60 miles on the car. All in all, it was GREAT first WEEKEND in March in Chicago for driving your vette, and surprise, surprise, I took full advantage of it!!!!

As long as the salt is off the road and it still was today (monday 3-7-05), i was out cruising my Elec Blue Z06. I had to pick up some files from a client around 1pm at orland park, and put on a good 65 miles on the car, and got hit with only some minimal flurries on the way home. It did turn out to be a cold windy day, but the free 10HP never hurts!!!

I just hope we don't get any precipation tonight, for the likes of icemansnow (GREG AND SONS) to being throwing down more salt! As long as the roads are clear, dry and mostly salt free, i stole another day from old man winter today and will continue to do so any chance i get!!!

I LOVE your attitude, not to mention that life is just too darn short to be freaked out about a lil salt dust on your C5, when the C5s will out live us!!! By the way, what type of tires do you run in the winter and how does your car handle with about 6 inches of snow on the ground!!!

I'm jealous... I've been too damn busy to get her out from the winter covers. But I'm definitely getting the itch!

SOON! ................
