indy,
DTE has a very good reputation - they should be able to help you out. Good luck.

Their website gives me the impression they may not be the best persone to do a pre-purchase inspection. They're more into tuning...am I wrong?

DTE "KNOWS" vette's. What's your time worth? Indy to FW 4-5hrs round trip? (guessing). Hoist charges?
See if your seller/you split the cost (visa/MC) to have Phil put it up, rip the wheels off, scan it etc, Digital pics etc. Just a suggestion.
Good luck with your search.

I've seen the car. I just want a mechanic to look for any mechanical problems. What do you mean by "scan it"

Default How about Dyer, IN?

I know an ASE certified vette tech in Dyer. Does that work? If so, contact me and I'll put you two together.
