Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Great car, great colors. The "born with" 427 ci 435 hp numbers matching original engine & transmission (the "real deal" / the engine & transmission that is in this car now is the same engine & transmission that was installed in this car November 16. 1966). Clearly legible tank sticker is still on the tank! Documented, highly original unrestored legend (assembled November 16, 1966) pampered by current owner (5th) since April 25, 1974 (over 40 years!). Remarkable continuity of dates / numbers of key components (engine casting date October 13, 1966, alternator dated October 13, 1966, transmission date of October 31, 1966 (in addition, number stamp matching the car serial number and engine stamp), rear end dated October 31, 1966, rear end stamp "FB" designates 4.11 ratio for a big block engine which is listed as the option on the tank sticker, windshield glass dated October 1966, engine assembled November 7, 1966, trim tag date of November 15, 1966, body marking "395" on firewall and rear bulkhead facing the gas tank matching handwritten number "395" on tank sticker, handwritten "395" on tank sticker appropriate for serial number of car, correct non dated jack, and more! ). Great provenance, first three owners were related, and the forth, a "broker" / private party who owned the car a only few months. Keeping it simple, this "hardtop only" (one of 895 though not with car) triple blue convertible was ordered with minimal options: brakes, steering, and windows are all manual (and yes, some of these corvette owners did NOT opt for sidepipes). The tank sticker that was on the tank when it left the factory November 16, 1966 is in impeccable condition and is still on the tank. Ordered by Jack Douglass Chevrolet, Hinsdale, IL. I purchased the car April 25, 1974..

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Small tear in driver seat and armrest. Unrestored, though exterior repaired/repainted near to original marina blue prior to 1974, driverside exterior door from 1963. white softtop added (also likely from a 1963) / originally "hardtop only" car. hardtop not with car when purchased in 1974.
Future Modifications:
Paint (locate appropriate hardtop to include in painting), Replace intake with period correct or new tri-power (or fuel injection), replace or have calipers sleeved with stainless, speed rated tires.
