Emoticons can sometimes be used to express your feelings in a thread without the need for any accompanying text. But a pattern of posting only emoticons gives the appearance that you are guilty of “freeposting” for the purpose of inflating your post count. Freeposting can also include using the same type comment, comments that are hijacking/off topic in nature, or anything similar.
Freeposting isn’t allowed at Corvetteforum.com. Moderators will use their best judgment in identifying freeposters, but the judgments will by necessity be subjective.
While it is not always synomous with "freeposting," it is inappropriate to post the same message in multiple sections of the Forum. On some occasions, it might be appropriate. Usually it isn't. Select the correct section of the Forum and post your message. If you decide later, another section might have been a better place, ask a moderator to move the thread.
If you believe you have a thread that needs to be in multiple sections at the same time, contact a moderator first and let them know why.
