Default 69 Emission decal

Is there any way to tell the difference between an original and a repro?

Yeah.. the original is stuck to your car seriously the repros that I have had in my hot lil hands have been a little bit larger in size than that of the original and the content on them was a lil bit differant as well.. nothing huge and if your just looking to make it look correct a repop will do the trick.. just keep them boys with the magnifying glasses away from that area

There are some bad repros out there with incorrectly spelled words. I got one from a dealer that had the words year and carburetor misspelled. They were good enough to refund my money, but didn't have any correct decals.

Ron, nothing dodgy going on here

Just looking for one more piece of verification for my own piece of mind.

If you know of a definate way to tell a fake from a repro.....i'm all for sending you a scan of mine for verification if thats no trouble

As with all older schit.....mines shrunk a bit

I have looked at my pile o ref pics and the only 69 I have pictured is missing the decal completely.. if anybody around here has a older.. older version of the corvette black book.. I think there was some in the back of it.. if memory serves. wish I could be more help
