Great posts guys.. just goes to show that a person needs to do there home work before laying out there hard earned. Be it original or Memorexed.. it all boils down to usage.. enjoy it for what ever reason.. thats all the matters. If you are building one up to be something its not for personal finacial gain at the expense of some one else.. shame on you.. I dont agree with making up documentation. if you dont have it ... you dont have it period. anything beyond that, is a lie!! and you maybe fooling most every one, including yourself into thinking other wise. The people that have there originals, deserve extra points

Another point, Hope your car has never or is never stolen, if the thief removes your trim tag you are done for. The NCRS does now allow state issued vins, which is confusing in itself as many dont even resemble a corvette number, so how can matching numbers/originality be determined??
