Warbonnet Yellow has always been one of my favorite colours. How about you, 67? :)
I noticed there were a couple pictures of straight axles sporting modern engines. I'd guess the 58 caught your eye since you had more pictures of it. Were they all full conversions (modern drivetrain as well) or just motor swaps? How was the 'attitude' of the NCRS concerning these kind of updates? Obviously, they can't be fully contrary as the cars were in the show, right? :D I know some guys who would declare these cars to be abominations because the car is no longer 'factory correct' but, to my consideration, if your car is already non-original, what better way to go?
I didn't look that close to see if the cars were more than engine swaps. As for the non-original Vettes, that's why the NCRS came up with the "Sportsman" display. So those with non-original cars can participate and earn points too.

The SportsMan display class is supposed to be "stock appearing" with no body mods(except for the midyear California "option" of six taillights, which is allowed in CA.). I think those "updated solid axles" when crafted beautifully are superb!!! I sure would'nt mind "cruisin'" around in one or even owning one of them :yesnod:
No
Corvette's

If it wasn't for the fact that it would enrage a large number of readers, it would be fun to see what kind of combos we could discover for those four letters. For instance....

Great pictures, hope to attend the winter meet next year. I have seen in a few photos a 1958-60 that is white with a blue top. Anyone got a good picture of it. That is the original colors of my 60 and would like to find a good picture as to how it will look when done.
Thanks, Roscoe. I wish I took some outside pictures of the auction, coral, vendors etc. There was one 78 Pace Car that looked very nice with only 41k miles on it and the price was $13.5 obo. Seems to me there were some down to earth priced cars to be had. Oh well - I left the checkbook home :D .
