Since my property is zoned agricultural, I might as well get a set of these State "Revenue Enhancers"!. The standard Maryland plates are black and white....Blahhhhh
I should be getting them in this week, I think the color of the tag below should compliment my Nuclear Banana! Does any other state have Ag plates like this?
Re: Ordered some new Agricultural Vanity Tags... (paintdaddy)
None of the 37 available plate styles includes agricultural, except fram vehicle plates. I went with the child abuse prevention plates for mine and the wife's daily drivers.
Re: Ordered some new Agricultural Vanity Tags... (Robert N)
Michigan has about 60 different varieties of non-standard plates, including one for every state-funded college and university, veterans of every war (wounded and non-wounded), several types of "historical vehicle" and "antique vehicle" plates, but I've never seen a "farm" or "ag" plate, and I live out in the sticks with farms everywhere. I guess they're not politically-connected like the alumni associatiions are :D

Actually, it is in rememberence of my GG Grandfather:

Re: Ordered some new Agricultural Vanity Tags... (Grey Ghost)
Our new just-elected Michigan Secretary of State (runs our DMV, among other things) announced today at the Detroit Auto Show that folks who want vanity plates can now go on-line to select them; you can't purchase them on-line, but you no longer have to stand in line at the DMV and have a clerk type in your requested combination to see if it's available. You go on-line to the DMV site, type in what you want, and it will tell you if it's available; once you find what you want, then you can hustle over to the nearest DMV office and purchase it without all the hassle and delays. Yup, she's a Republican :D
Re: Ordered some new Agricultural Vanity Tags... (paintdaddy)
I don't know who put those together but I had a great laugh as well.
Saskatchewan is the 'bread basket' of Canada- flat land full of wheat fields and not much else. The folks there are God-fearing and traditional. For instance, they are the only province which does not use 'daylight savings time' and they've refused to since it was first proposed. Why? God and the cows tell them when to get up, not the clock.
I think the artist underestimated though- it should be 'turn your watch back 50 years.'
Re: Ordered some new Agricultural Vanity Tags... (FXT)
After 3 months, I finally got em today! :smash: It was worth wait though. I love the way the colors match compliment the car. They sure as hell look better than those standard ho hum black and white tags. To think when I ordered these tags, I had a black C-5, not even knowing I would end up with a yellow one by the time they arrived in the mail.
I guess these farmers out here will see the car tag and say...I wonder what he grows?
Re: Ordered some new Agricultural Vanity Tags... (FXT)
Excellent! I love it, Patrick!! The colour match looks pretty close. I'm guessing the farmers will look and say "Hmm- I bet he never puts hay in that thang!"

'67, obviously you know what the text of the tag is really saying. Anyone else want to take a guess on how to pronounce it and what it refers to? :jester
