Don't remember exactly, but MJ is a code. Look in the parts book. Where the radiators are listed, the listing is followed by the code. Mine was/is M something. The code tells you the original application....427 with manual trans, etc. Not sure about the "9" Chuck

It's the radiator production code that is determined by the RPO combination of your car, and it will be printed on the broadcast (build) sheet.

Production codes are the same format as RPO order codes - three digit alpha-numeric sequence. When the order was keyed into the plant computer, it generated the broadcast sheets with all the proper production codes, which was then used by plant personel to install the proper parts on your car for its combination of ordered RPOs.

If you look closely at the radiator tag, it might also have a GM long number, and there may be some other data, which is probably lot/date code and vendor code.

If you send your radiator out to a shop for checkout or repair, remove the radiator tag and save it for reinstallation when you get it back. Radiator shops just throw them away. If it can be seen on the car, it is probably subject to NCRC judging.

ok... I cleaned the tag up and sure enough there is a part number. 3018571. I have an AIM but Murphy's law prevails and the radiator number is off of the copied page at the very top. Can anyone varify what I have?
