50th Anniversary Millenium Yellow '03 Z06, man I love it!! :smash: :smash: Got a good? deal on it, they gave me $40K for my '02, and they knocked off a couple g's from the invoice. Things must be slow in the car sales business, right after Christmas. I guess if you're at the right dealer at the right time, you can get a decent deal. The best thing about it, is it doesn't show dirt like the black Z did.
This car was made by GM for itself to show in the D.C. area "World of Wheels" car show, last month. They had a total of 4 new Corvettes in the show, then afterwards sold them to local dealers and the my dealer bought this one. They just got it in 2 days ago. It has 150 miles on it and was only driven to the show and back by a GM employee, so I'm told.
On the window sticker, normally the dealer that orders the car from GM is given. In this case, the name of the "Dealer" on the sticker is..... Northeast Region, 100 Renaissance Center, Detroit, Michigan. Dealer #31045
What is the teminology given these types of cars that GM builds for itself? My scanner is down, but I will post the sticker shortly.
Patric YOU are INSANE! but a sincere congradulation on that car I love the color. Bet of luck with it.What did the wife say when you pulled in to the driveway with that?
Re: Check out my new ride I got today.... (Desertdawg)
Here is the "Dealer" who ordered the car and the address...it's GM. Does anyone know what Division this is at this address? It appears that the Zone is #31 and is Dealer #45.
Your wish is my....yada, yada, yada. :D

If I were you. I would try and get a program from the show it was in and any of the publicity stuff - pictures, advertisements for the show, etc...Build you a nice folder of info on it.
Patrick, Now that you have two yellow Corvettes, you should contact one of the Corvette magazines to see if they would do an article on them. Congratulations on the new purchase. I like the yellow. I had one black car in my life and would never buy another one. Nice when clean but too hard to keep looking good.
