Hmmmm...not too bad for a rookie, I took this yesterday. I had Adobe Photodeluxe in the old PC, and tried to reload it into this new Dell, but it won't work. Had to buy the new version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 for $100. Just goes to prove they all make software components with built in obsolesence.!!
While you were in photoshop. Why didn't have a little fun with it.... :D
Hey....that's MY car with a Union Pacific logo on it. I must be a track inspector!
I've only had Photoshop for one day, so I'm still learning the ropes. Actually the only Photochop I've really done is the 70LT1 which is the FCR logo pic at the top of the first page
there is a real easey resizing in the photo shop element.Once you have a picture loaded go to image then to resize and keep the proportions the same and just change the numbers to half the size.
I had recived the elements program with a new digital camera and always wanted photo shop 7.00 but could not afford to pay the 600.00 to 700.00 they were asking for it.I registered my elements on line and just got a coupon on line 2 or 3 weeks ago that said up grade from elements to photo shop 7 for only 299.00 so I did it and have the photo shop 7 and I am now reading a book on how to use it.If you want photo shop 7 register elements program they may send you the same coupon
I am waiting for a new dell lap top to come this week once I get it I will be able to read the book in bed and practice using the program.
PS that picture you have posted could have been taken in the village I live in we have the same beutifull seens buy us except now all of the trees have changed there color.I am in southeastern ny about 40 mins north of NYC
You got to love those mountains
My version of PhotoChop is pretty antique but that's what runs on the ol' Tandy 1000, even with all my upgrades. It still gets the job done, though. Did you get my e-mail, Patrick?
We have a newer version at the office but I've never had a chance to play with it.
Feeding the dinos isn't that time comsuming (although the neighbourhood is running short of strays) but the clean up afterwards is hell.
The Tandy 1000 thing is kind of a running joke- my first computer, long ago departed to fulfill a more appropriate role as landfill or perhaps a boat anchor.

Mac, no I didn't get your e-mail because I had to change my address AGAIN, from Starband to Outlook express. Please send it again ....<ptighe@starband.net>
As far as $700 Photoshop setups go, I think that is for professionals who do this stuff for a living like '67; the new Photoshop 2.0 I have now will probably do OK.

I've always wondered how they came up with those WANTED posters. Now I see. Take a dash of PhotoChop, throw in an image of a liberal politician....add a pimple or a wart....maybe a tattoo for extra measure.....and voila (that's not viola my American friends  )....Canada's Most Wanted.....fresh outta Mac's station house. :jester

You wouldn't need to add worts, pimples or tattoos to make the current gaggle of crooks look bad. Politician are like diapers- they should be changed frequently and for the same reason. I keep breaking my self-imposed promise not to talk politics.
I know many of you were wondering why Patrick was redoing his car when it looked excellent before. Well, enquiring minds needed to know and according to this picture from the Forum Enquirer, it appears someone wasn't paying attention to the tide charts when planning his photo-op.
Ahhh, PhotoChop! It makes the improbable seem likely!!
You figure you need airbags, Patrick? I like the colour at least!!
So tell me- who did a better PhotoChop- me w. original:smash: or the Dawg w. Version 7?
No applause, please.... just throw money!! :jester :yesnod:
Mac, to tell you the honest truth, without prejudice, I like Dawg's train photo the best, probably because I've always been partial to pictures of trains.
