Chuck Gongloff is the 69 expert, but I will tell you what I believe to be correct for 69, and Chuck can straighten us both out. :D
Rear view mirror trim: Gray rubber for all interiors.
Shift knob: Black chrome.
M21: Only way to be completely sure is to count the teeth on the input shaft; maybe some one can provide the details. There will also be some "rings" cut into the input shaft splines right behind the pilot end: two rings = M20, one ring = M21, no rings = M22. IF the transmission is the original and has not had the internals altered, the stamp on the right side rear case flange will have a suffix letter on the end that identifies the gear ratios: A = M20, B = M21, C = M22.
Build Sheet For Your Car: If a copy isn't hidden behind the dash, somewhere in the frame, or glued to the top of the gas tank, the build sheet for your car can't be had...it's unobtainable.
Positraction ID: The gear ratio and positraction id is included in a two letter code in the stamp on the bottom of the housing. For example, if your car is a 427/390hp (L36) with M21, the standard rear axle ratio is 3.36:1. The positraction differential build stamp would include the letters "AU". In fact, the spec books appear to indicate that ALL 427 differentials were equipped with positraction.
Window Crank Handles: Window crank handle knobs for 68-72 Corvettes are black for all interiors. Full size Chevrolets of this era had clear knobs on an identical window crank handle, and you will see these used as functional replacements. They are not correct for Corvettes.
