Default [REPRINT] Our Corvette Heritage #52: Road test of Hot 1961 Fuelie.

OUR CORVETTE HERITAGE:
I know you'll agree that keeping our Corvette heritage alive is important to the hobby. As new owners come on board, I'll bet there's a lot about Corvettes that they don't know.

The OUR CORVETTE HERITAGE series of threads is an attempt to bring us all up to speed or remind us about the history and development of our favourite car.

**************************************** ********************
For the 52nd in this series of threads, here's a look at the pinnacle of 283c.i. development - the 1961 315hp Fuelie.

This article appeared in the July, 1961 issue of Hot Rod Magazine and was provided thanks to forum member Netnarc2.

Enjoy!

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of technical information in the article. Any idea how accurate their information was or was it simply rehashing what Zora told them?

67, great article; thanks for posting!

Since this is FCR, I just thought I'd do a little cyber-judging. C1 experts, check out the side view photo of the car...that's not a stock tailpipe, is it?
