I sandblasted my 1960 u-bolts and have noticed the sides and underneath have XXXX to grip the axle when tightened. One of the u-bolts need to be replaced and was wondering if the reproductions were correct like the originals with the XXX markings. I have noticed that much of the reproduction parts in the Corvette world always fall short in the little details like the originals.
