Default value of warranty booklet and p-o-p

Let's say for the sake of discussion:

1- you have the original warranty booklet and p-o-p. What would you sell it for if you could find the current owner?

2- you own a Corvette and find the original warranty booklet and p-o-p. What would you pay for it?

Currently, I'm in both scenarios.

1. I might give it to the actual owner of the car.

2. That would depend on the asking price and how badly I wanted the documents.

Thanks for the reply. Let's change the scenario a little. I'm looking to buy 67 435 convertible. I find two of them, similar mileage, same options, both top flighted cars and whatever other NCRS awards that would apply. One has the the warranty book and p-o-p, the other does not. Does having those documents increase the value of one over the other? Forgive me if I'm not using the correct terminology, I'm trying to determine if these documents are worth anything as far as making the car for valueable.

Depends if the documents are real or fake. Given the cost of a '67 435 car you might consider the NCRS document verification service for those documents tied to a specific car. If the documents are fake, then the car maybe ....

Original materials are NOT needed, a photocopy works just fine.

Generic materials like Owner's Manuals, etc are readily available.

That would be up to you and what you feel is important. Do you understand how the NCRS would have judged these two cars and how Top Flight would have been awarded? http://www.ncrs.org/

#1 scenario. If you found ORIGINAL factory documentation and the current car did not have any factory docs to prove its provenance I would value it A LOT!

#2 scenario. If no other factory documents exist to prove its born with drivetrain, I would pay A LOT to have originals.
