Default starter heat shield

how can I identify an original 71 bb heat shield from a reproduction? Is it chromed? how is it different from a sb?

The small block heat shield is a "sort of" triangle shaped stamped steel piece, painted black, with 2 slots in it.

The big block shield was stainless steel. They are rounded and have a reinforcing rib stamped into them, and I think just one mounting hole. The big block shield looks like a small piece of ignition shielding.

To my knowledge, the repro ones are pretty close to OEM ones.
