Default Tri-Power Carb Date Codes

I am currently going over a 1967 427/435 and I'm having a hellava time figurung out the date codes on the carbs. They seem to have the right part #'s and list #'s, but the four digit date code seems wrong. The build date of the car is G03...third week of Feb. Engine build is 0125. Here is a pic of the rear carb. The center carb is 0906, F & R 0236. Can anyone shed some light on this??

Those are later Service replacement carburetors - 0236 were built the 23rd day of 1976 (or '86 or '96), and 0906 was built the 90th day of 1976 (or '86 or '96). Holley started using 4-digit date codes in 1973; original '67 carburetors had 3-digit date codes that started with either a "6" (for 1966) or a "7" (for 1967).

For 3-digit date codes, the first digit is the year, the second is the month of the year, and the third is the week of the month.

For 4-digit date codes, which started in 1973, the first three digits are the Julian date (day of the calendar year), and the fourth digit is the year.

Thanks, I knew about the Julian date thing, but didn't know when it started so that makes sense. Thought these carbs looked way to good to be 45 years old. I bet correct date code ones cost an arm and a leg,
