Default Help: How do i identify which heads i have

Hi All
I have a S\B chev 406 that i had bought about 8 years ago for a resto that i am doing and the paper work states that it has late model alu corvette heads on it.
I know that there are several diffrent types of these heads on the market.
So how can i tell which ones i have?
The reason i ask this is that i would like to buy a Eforce #15641 Or #15631 supercharger from Edelbrock to match the Billet Specailties True track that i have on the car at the moment.
Any feed back would be great on this.

Harry

Remove the valve covers and you'll see the casting numbers and dates.

Hi Guy's
Just got some numbers for the heads that i have,
On the front side of the head is a 4 digit number 6273 and on the back is F2 14101128. Both of these numbers can only be seen with the rocker covers off.
Can anybody shed some light on what type of heads they are?

'86-'87 350 heads, 58cc chambers, 1.94/1.50 valves; if they have angled plugs, they're over-the-counter heads. If they're on a 400 block, make sure they have the matching steam holes drilled.
