Default 1969 350Hp timing chain cover question

Would someone with an orginal 1969 Corvette 350 hp verify for me if the timing tab is welded to the timing chain cover or is a separate piece? I really would like to know from someone who owns a very original car as I seem to get different answers.

Thanks and much appreciated!

Im told the 300 hp original is also welded, but the tab is different. Does anyone have comparative photos??
