Default What's The Plan For The Next Six Months?

It's real quiet here on FCR, so I'll pose a question: what does everybody have planned for the next six months or so?

My stuff:

1) I'm going for a NCRS Founders Award over the next year, so I'm going to use the next six months to try and fix some lingering driveability problems in my 1985 which may be either EGR or MAF-related. I need to do this relatively soon before it gets colder and the engine starts running better.

2) I'm going to try replacing the service replacement alternator with a rebuilt original.

3) I'm hoping to get a battery that more closely resembles the original.

What do other folks have on tap?

Default phew!

Well just got the garage cleaned and my "baby" is now safe at night.
I need to get my q jet rebuilt ,trans rebuilt and start the interior. The inside is pretty clean. Just fixing the stupid things done to her such as chopping a hole in the gauge bezel to install a funky radio. New dash pad is need due to cracks and carpet is worn. Maybe gonna get the seats done too. For me this is a lot with my present financial situation. If I get this all done in 6 months I will be happy. It will be a good start

redo seat covers, then go from them.

...not six months away, but nine months. Will probably take my Silver '68 Coupe for it's 5th Star on it's Bowtie Award Plaque to the 2008 NCRS Convention in St. Charles, MO July 20-24. Will also plan on attending the Seven Springs Pittsburgh Regional in June.

I'll be going to Old Town/Kissimmee in January too. NOT bringing a car.

Pat and I are building a house up near Crystal River, North of Tampa. We've been going down to Florida about every other month to check on things.

The house is to be finished in April of 08, so my NCRS trip will also be a "check on the house" trip too. We'll be there for about 10 days.

Not much shakin' with the Corvettes. I have been working on my 56 Chevy. It's at a friends house now, having some paint touch up done.

When I get it back in a week or so, I've got some SS trim to buff, and I want to move the battery to the trunk to clean up the engine bay.

Have almost all the parts laid in. MIGHT do a front disc brake conversion too.
