Default Block casting 3970010 for 1972 200hp?

I'm checking out a 1972 Corvette, and I'm wanting to confirm the block casting number. I don't have 1972 Corvette reference information available. Is the 3970010 block used for base-motor 1972 Corvettes? I see it listed for the L48 for 1973 and 1974, and it's reasonable to think that it would be used for 1972 also, but I'm hoping you can confirm this for me.

Could also be a 3970014 if it is a late car.

Yes, what "knight" said also, by the black book and other sources, one source says "appears on some later", but then 010 only number after 72 thru 1980
