Default need help on what bellhousing to motor bolts should be on 68

paragon tells and has bellhousing to trans bolts.

but what do the bellhousing to engine block bolts supposed to be marked up like?

thanks....my ncrs manual didn't tell either btw.

ALSO what about intake manifold bolts ona 68 427/390 ones I took off were marked FP, this is what paragon sells for it but ecklers sells ones marked either A or M for it.....what the heck came on the car.

these sites need to get right what came on these cars and list the right bolts for us instead of us doing their research.

Paragon sells both the "FP" and the "A" intake bolts - use whatever the Judging Guide calls for.

Several different recessed-head flanged bolts/headmarks were used for the bellhousing-to-block attachment, and "FP" was a typical headmark. Same story for the plain hex-head zinc-plated trans-to-bellhousing bolts, where "TR" was a typical headmark.

As there were sometimes differences year-to-year for the same attachment hardware (which Paragon points out), you need to do your own independent research - they don't have all the Judging Guides.

thanks john.....12 of the 16 on my intake manifold had FP on the head....so should I probably buy the FP bolts from pragaon right? it's a 68 l36...you mention judging guide but mine doesn't tell (it's the purple one) ncrs..so what else is there to turn too?

I guess the FP's is what came on it but If I'm buying all new I want to be fairly sure yanno.

anymore input? thanks

Look in the "Mechanical" section of the Judging Guide, under "Intake Manifold", and it will describe the intake bolts.
