69 carb 7029203 DY date code?

I have a thread in c3 general, but figured I would ask here as well.

I cannot find the date code on the carb. I am told it should be right below the 7029203 DY. anything look out of place? could it be somewhere obscure? (disregard the blue arrow)

looks like the date code is 2787 on the rear drivers side base. why it is a 1967 date code, I dont know though. mny other thread mentioned possible misstamp or base swapped with a 67 unit at some point.

278 th day would be 1968 Model year.
