Default 66 transmission in a 65. How does this affect value or desirability?

I have a fully restored early 65 coupe (build Nov 64) with matching no's engine. Most all other items are matching numbers and dates as well. With the exception of the transmission maincase. It has a casting number of 3885010 which I am told is for a 66 or 67 car. My question is how does this affect value or desirability of this car? Would it be worthwhile to try to find a correct trans? Otherwise this car practicly flawless. Thanks

Nope, don't be concerned about it - the '66 trans is stronger than the '65 anyway (1" countershaft vs. 7/8" on the '65); transmission (and axle) "numbers" aren't judged in NCRS Flight judging.
